Trend Alert: 70's Vacation

It's been fashion week for the past couple of days and it has been show after show. One thing I think Fashion Week is telling us is that it's due time for a vacation in your time machine to the 70's. Bright colors and prints, interesting cuts (see Marc Jacobs), beautiful draping, flowers and sun hats. Through the collections, Diane von Furstenburg, Zac Posen and Marc Jacobs have very bright colors and bold patterns that come across with that 60's-70's vibe. Elie Tahari and Halston are pieces someone could take on their European vacation, high-waisted shorts and beautiful draped-airy dresses.
