Destination: Palm Springs

YESSS! This weekend you'll find me in the desert, the perfect getaway from SD!! According to the Weather Channel a HEAT WAVE will be coming through and I'm stoked about it! Funny thing is that Coachella is this weekend as well, but me and bf are not going. Just a weekend escape from the city is what I'm looking forward to the most, whether we are at Coachella or not. Earlier I posted some of my favorite Palm Springs Stays, but what to wear? I would wear all the items below; the must haves are BIG sunglasses and cute summer airy dresses, if it gets too hot just take a dip in the pool. Can't wait!

Jumpers & Such

First thing first, I don't think I'm a great stylist or anything and while I was in Fashion School, Styling was my WORST class. (I really did not like that class, but I managed to pull off a B.) Anywho I wanted to make my first attempt at outfit post! Don't mind my point and shoot, bf & I are working on getting an SLR :) just 3 photos, my poor camera died :( I got my tax return and the first thing I did was shop for me! I'm in LOVE with jumpers & rompers which are perfect with wedges! While I was getting ready, Phoenix was playing the background. Who's ready for summer? Cause I am!

And my sign is...

After catching up with the 18th season of the Amazing Race; there was a part where they had to write their wish and drop it in a box that corresponded with their Chinese sign; which mine is Rabbit. (On a side note it was hilarious to watch the Globetrotters guess what their Chinese sign was.) Shortly I found this AMAZING spread in the Feb 2010 Vogue Paris inspired by astrology & the signs. Beautiful and whimsical. Now I wonder if they did a spread on the Chinese signs? If so please point me in that direction. plz&thx.

Bad. UPDATED

Ok I'll admit it. I'm a pretty bad blogger. Between work, boyfriend, friends and dog, when I come home I want to lay in my bed. Actually I'm in bed right now..HA..quick update:

UPDATE:
I really do LOVE all my friends. HAHA. Let's add forgetful friend on top of bad blogger....I also need to add I finally saw my best friend; Travis Ketchum for a brief 4 hours, after not seeing him for 3 years. We headed over to Torrey Pines Beach to watch the sunset cause that's how best friends do it. :)






1. FINALLY spent a few weekends in LA at the boyfriend's new place. We found some AMAZING hole-in-the wall eateries. Kim's Kitchen is a bang for your buck if you're craving Korean BBQ.
2. Went to one of San Diego Corgi Meetups. Nothing is better than see 60 corgis running around together.
3. Photo shoots & TV Segment for work.
4. YAY for Tax Refunds! Went on a little shopping spree at my favorite place ever. Forever 21.
5. A good friend of ours got into grad school down in Georgia and he would like one last hoorah in Vegas!
6. Boyfriend & I are thinking of going to San Francisco or Chicago in September.
7. Last, Boyfriend and I got Pokémon Black & White. Yeah we're nerds like that.

I don't have a fancy camera, so all the photos are done with my iPhone 4. :)
